I have had to replace the motors in both of my 124018 and 124019 as the motor brushes wearout and there is no way to easily replace them. I also had to get a new pinion and motor mount as the original pinion gear could not be removed as the grub screw stripped and the motor mounting screws could not be undone. If the motors brushes could be replaced easily and just get those to keep it going would be better than having to buy a new motor every time they wearout. Might have to find one that can be done like that and use it instead but for now these will do.

It is the original engine from the WLToys cars. I built it into a 144001 and it works with no problems. The engine is very powerful, but it also gets quite warm. I recommend installing a heat sink and taking a short break after each battery. My previous motor broke due to excessive heat (the fan wheel melted).
