Very useful for beginners breadboard as it comes with this nice power unit. Adjustable between 5V and 3.3V. Various length and colors patching cables. Breadboard has adhesive back so that you can stick it in a steady place. Can be expanded with more breadboards. Can be powered either through USB or a standard power supply.

This kit has the basic component for your experiment with standard through hole components or with Arduino. The power supply board had 2 bented contacts on the bottom of the PCB, but it have been easy to solve the issue. the wires quality is acceptable. the board has some contacts that are strong and some contacts more soft, so I fear that there could be electric contact problems in normal use. I will check asap. price is OK for the quality il kit contiene i componenti base per esperimenti con componenti THT e con Arduino. il kit di alimentazione ricevuto aveva 2 contatti storti sul lato saldature, ma è stato facile raddrizzarli. i cavetti sono di qualità accettabile mentre la board ha alcuni contatti duri ed altri più morbidi per cui potrebbero esservi problemi di contatto elettrico durante l'uso. qualità OK per il prezzo.

You get a lot for your money with this set. Recommended for beginners. It has no information included but you can find some in the description of the product. Here are some info, primary for the power supply. It has a switch and a led which indicates if the power supply is on or off. Two power inputs, one from USB and the other from a common jack 5,5x2,1mm. Two voltage regulators (AMS1117), one for 5V and one for 3,3V. All the pins on the top are connected to either to 5V or 3,3V (clearly marked) and can be used individually to power your project. If you want to give power to the lower pins (primary to connect the breadboard power lines), use the jumpers either to 5V or 3,3V (or 0V in the center). They work individually so you can set one to 5V and the other to 3,3V. Important notes for power input: The absolutely maximum input voltage for the jack is 15V but the recommended is 6,5-12V. As every voltage regulator you have a dropout (effectively you lose) 1V at small load to 1,5V at maximum load (at 1A). So make sure that the input voltage is at least 1,5V higher that the voltage you want to work. Now, if you power from the USB (5V input) your maximum voltage will be 4V (or 3,5V at full load). So the 5V will not work correctly but the 3,3V will be ok. The breadboard is decent with some holes hard to insert the cables but they come loose after few insertions. The cables are thin and not too flexible but usable without problem.

Same as majority, PSU breadboard connector pins were a bit bent during delivery process everything else is fine. The funniest thing is that no one noticed a huge mistake in product's description. PSU's USB connector is used for DC output, not DC input. I'll try to upload a PSU schematic diagram to images section, hope moderator will allow me to do that.

There's nothing more frustrating than working on a project that has intermittent connections because of a poor quality breadboard. I retired one of my breadboards for just that reason, and I replaced it with this one. Inserting jumpers is easy but they are held firmly. I've used this breadboard for a few different projects and so far haven't noticed any tie points that seem looser than the others. I'm withholding that last Quality Star because I don't know for sure how long this breadboard will last compared to others I have worn out, but I think the quality is about as good as it gets for this type of product. The power supply is a basic dual power supply with LM317 regulators, a nice little on-off push button, a too-bright power on LED and headers that will connect power and ground to the distribution strips on the breadboard. You can choose any combination of 3.3V and 5V on the two distribution strips, and it ties both ground strips together, no wires required. The jumpers seem fine - every one I have used so far have passed the yank test.
