Awesome truck. Its fast, its tough and its a heap of fun. I bought two cars and so far the only real weak point has been the shocks. On one car both the rear shock caps popped off (admittedly during a skate park jump session). I topped up the fluid and glued the caps in place. That should hold until the upgraded shocks arrived. The second car lost the plastic washer that holds the spring in place on one of the front shocks. Moral of the story.....order some upgraded shocks when you buy the car as you will most likely need them. Awesome truck (shocks are the weak point so order some upgraded ones upfront)

The vehicle looks good and makes a good impression. However, it has a glaring design flaw, the battery compartment is a real joke. Only too small batteries fit in it (7cm long). Do not understand why the ESC was not mounted on the servo, so it also makes Hyper Go and there would be much more space for a decent battery. Sorry but so the vehicle is useless for me.

Schnell und wie bestellt angekommen.

Banggood delivery was very fast, with the truck arriving in just 9 days to the UK! The HBX2996A is very nearly the perfect RC truck in my opinion. It says 1/10 on the box, but its probably closer to 1/12 scale with oversize wheels and tyres. The LED headlights and roof bar lights just look so good and the overall styling ticks all the right boxes. The 2996A is of the same high build quality as the HBX 16889A Pro, and just like its smaller brother, this truck is superbly put together with good quality components. You get full metal transmission, dogbones, CVDs & drive cups, The shocks are oil filled & double wishbone suspension front and rear. The brushless motor is absolutely superb with no cogging and is very well matched to this truck. The ESC/Receiver is responsive with no lag. The 6kg servo provides quick steering and overall handling is excellent and very stable at speed with the oversize tyres. Battery space is limited but the included1600mAh 2s lipo gives about 15 -20 minutes run time. The only thing I would change on this truck would be separate ESC and receiver units but that is only because I like to have all my RCs controlled from the same transmitter. Overall the 2996A is a superb truck that does not disappoint.
