I'm using Tanix players from 10 years ago and this brand is very satisfying. The X4 uses Amlogic 905 processor, that is more versatile to modifications than others (I use the Tanix for the solely purpose of having installed the KODI media center, but need to hack some parts to achieve FTP and an external file library). The X4 is deceivingly little but powerful, it plays smoothly 4K films on screen without stutter or jumps. System is Android 11, it includes the Google Play so you can update to the latest versions and it works perfectly. PROS: All is good, it's a very powerful machine for a very good price. But... CONS: Android 11 is more restrictive than previous systems, and is difficult to work with it comfortably: you can not fully access external drives, share files from one app to another... and some apps seem not very up-to-date. If you are new, you will not notice this gap. If you are used to previous Android, maybe it requires some handwork before getting all into place. Also, the Banggood delivery was quick and without any unexpected Custom or taxes issues!
