this device is faulty. I do not smell ozone, I do not see a glow , neither the tube nor the power supply gets warm.
the end of the tube did emit light, accompanied by a crackling sound, like arcing for a while but stopped. the emited light was not what expected, it was white light not a plasma glow
please replace the device
