6V 4.5W 520mAh Mini Epoxy Monocrystalline Solar Panel

very good solar panels, bought for solar wifi birdhouse for spare. I don't know if product meets description of being fully monocrystalline, it still has a bit blue-ish tone to it. Wafers seem to have more spacing inbetween, which might mean more physical durability but on the other hand less wattage. I wouldn't recommend to expose these panels to mechanical stress, not even smudge dirt or sealant of them with fingers, which was my mistake with polycrystalline cell i bought elswhere. Snail trails/cracks began to form in waffers, which reduce power output/efficiency. Quick tip: Cover edges of panel with tape or cover it full, before you start with sealing/mounting it.

One of the final stages in many of my projects is transitioning from wired power distribution to an autonomous system using local rechargeable batteries (eneloop or lipo), a small PV cell and a custom charge management system. I find that even a small PV cell can keep the batteries topped up, even in an indoor unit. At 165x165 mm, this is one of the largest PV panels I use, so I can make even projects with demanding power requirements autonomous.

Good product. I'm using it to run DC 3v mini submersible water pump without battery.

Set this panel with a Panasonic 3400 MAmps and as the the blue light on theTP4056 Micro USB 5V 1A Lithium Battery Charging Protection Board Charger Module shows that it is fully charged . This panel works great .

Solar panel works fine, even at low lighting I got 4.22 volts.

These panels are half the price of the Radio Scrap equivalent panels and twice the current output. I tested them under ambient lighting and all of them produced close to 5 volts as you can see in the attached picture. In full sunlight I expect they will produce full rated output. I bought 3 of them to make an SLA smart charger so that I would have back up power for my Electronics during a power outage. I could have bought a complete system but it would have cost a couple of hundred bucks for one that actually would work. However, being an electrical engineer I decided to build one to my specs. It will be used to keep a 12v, 20Ahr SLA charged. The electronics will be easy since I already have a circuit design I currently use. The tricky part is mounting the panels so they have proper heat dissipation in full sunlight. This was my first order from Bang_good and I am very impressed with the quality of the items purchased. They took about 2 weeks to arrive but it was worth the wait getting them. I am looking forward to ordering more from Bang_good in the future.
