Description:
Different numbers are engraved on the transparent acrylic, and then the digital effect is refracted by the bright RGB lamp, which simulates the display effect of the fluorescent tube glow clock. Each number produces different gradient colors, forming rainbow colors and various aurora color effects. A side colored light effect is added at the bottom. There are a variety of time digital display animation effects and multiple switching animations.

【Number 3】 Format setting (Format):
[0] (Hour format): 24-24 hour system mode; 12-12 hour system mode.

Very good electronics kit. Good quality PCB and parts. SMD soldering skills and a temperature-adjustable soldering station are required for construction! Don't buy this version if you haven't worked with it yet. Soldering the MCU is a particularly delicate operation. A good tip: do not use solder paste (RL-403) if you cannot wash the PCB properly afterwards. Any remaining invisible paste can easily cause a short circuit (experience)!

Beautiful and stable DIY clock which I ever made. I have spent approx 2 hr to complete this kit. did some mistakes but finally got success. working perfectly on a single attempt. small microcontroller was having some challange to solder for beginners. but using air soldering gun anyone can solder easily.
document was well and easily explained. I really like this kit. I will order same kit again as soon as possible
that was a lots of fun and learning.

This kit is AMAZING! I got the unassembled kit. NOTE: you will need a SMD rework hot air station if you plan to assemble this thing yourself. The 48pin micro controller is very small. (half the size of a dime. Also there is no schematic included so you will need to figure out where the 1k 10k and so in resistors go. But if you are up to the challenge, this kid is VERY rewarding and when done you have an amazing clock to look at. My friends want me to build them one now.

Very challenging project to build. Be Warned! You need VERY good soldering skills to even attempt this build. The most challenging part to solder is the processor chip, once you get past that the rest of the build I found challenging but very satisfying. If you do not have the skill or the right equipment to solder this type of project I would highly recommend that you purchase the clock that has the circuit board already completed. It is less than $10 more, but at least you can be guaranteed of having a working clock when you are finished. Don't complain when you don't have the proper equipment or the skill to build this and then blame other things. This kit was a very enjoyable project for the money. If you try to build it yourself and find you can't get it to work, then no worries, it wasn't very expensive. It was fun to do and you can always buy the prebuilt one next time. Extremely cool looking clock when it is running. Very unique. Thanks Banggood for a great selection of projects and products.

Looks absolutely stunning, and building it is fine if you have a lot of time at hand and can solder well.
However, some minor points make it lose a star in review.
1. there is no circuit diagram given, so troubleshooting if something does not work takes a lot of time.
2. the backup battery can only be replaced when you disassemble the entire clock, which also takes a lot of time and could be avoided by having a hole in the lower plates to easily access the battery
3. top plate is not countersunk, but countersunk screws are provided
4. the auto brightness does not work in equalizer / music display mode
