The reason for buying this kit was that I needed a square wave to adjust the compensation trimmer of an oscilloscope probe. This generator proved to be perfectly suitable for this. Plus: it was easy to assemble and solder. The wave forms are clean all across the frequency range. I admire the design decision to limit the frequency range to what the chip can handle at a low distortion level.
