Nice little receiver for your pc, phone, tablet or android tv box. I bought it for home usage when i test my FPV equipment. So i dont have to wear my FPV glasses while testing around. Also good for friends when you fly outdoor. Iam using it on my new Honor 9 phone with USB type C. You can use this receiver with every app on the playstore. This works much better than what you would think when you read the reviews and youtube movies out there. Connected it to my samsung s7 with the supplied cable installed GoFPV and although it warned me about the fact it may not work because of a missing driver it did work perfectly. The first youtube I saw stated I would need the usb adaptor that came with my phone to make it work with my samsung but it works fine without this adaptor. I also took a standard usb to micro usb cable and connected it to my Macbook. I started the preinstalled quicktime and could select it as one of the available cameras and it worked. So no installations needed no special cables or adaptors. finally one of the posts here states you can burn your USB port whcih is also not true. I measured the power and it takes about 170 mA which is far below the standard 500 mA if a USB port. This should last for hours on my phone battery. I just love it on my samsung S7 in a cardbox style goggles. I am using Fiit VR box which has a great FOV and can be adjusted to my eyes without needing reading glasses on. I do need +1.0 dopiter reading glasses for reading a book but dont need those in my goggles. What a great deal for less than 20 euro I paid for this!

Nothing to go wrong with this device - just connect using the included USB OTG cable, install a UVC app in your Android phone (FPViewer is a popular option) and press the green Connect button in the app. Long-press the orange button on receiver to search for channel. Comes in a nice metal box that protects the components. The receiver could have a LED to indicate what it is doing. Works with phones via USB-C connector, as the Nexus 5X in the picture - I used a USB-OTG cable with male-C / female-A plus a regular microUSB cable. Since USB-C is the future, the receiver could have a USB-C cable included in the bundle for maximum convenience.

I can confirm that this works with Samsung Galaxy S8. But it works only with MicroUSB to USB cable and the large USB adapter (that came with Galaxy S8). Just install the App in the description and it will work out of the box...

Works well on Huawei P9 phone using Pocket FPV. BUT!!!!! Getting the correct cable connector for the usb-c on my phone can be difficult. Some sub-c cables have a 55Kohm resistor between SBV1 & 5V and the cable supplied has the ID pin shorted to Ground on one side. This WON'T WORK. I removed this on my connector and soldered a 5.1Kohm resistor between SVB1 & Ground. On micro usb side Only connect red 5V black ground green (D+) & white (D-).

Perfect item if you don't own a pair of FPV Goggles and you want to try FPV or you want to share with a friend your flights. Cheap and very useful. I connected if to my S7 Edge and at first it didn't work with the suggested App. Later I tried PocketFPV and FPVdroid and it works perfectly, also in Gear VR mode. Attached are the screenshots. Video quality is not the best one, but I think it depends on the camera.

On my Galaxy Notes 2 it works with PocketFPV. I for now did NOT succeed to make it works with GoFPV as other users do who use more recent phones. But PocketFPV is ok for me. You can download PocketFPV from https://fir.im/pocketFPV With PocketFPV, you can have a Side by Side view for VR masks or a normal full screen view. You can record a video in 640x480p in 25FPS which is store on your phone at \Phone\Movies\PocketFPV directories. The record are done in MP4 with a classic AVC codec ( ~ 25MB / minute ) There is some latency as you can see in the video frame I put as an uploaded photo. I don't think latency is better or worse than WIFI FPV ( Of course 5.8 GHz range is considerably better than basic WIFI) and because of that latency I don't think I would like to use it for real FPV piloting but more as a control screen for people which accompany me and of course as a VCR as people do usually with EasyCap + 5.8 receiver. Take in consideration that my phone is slow compared to more modern phone, so this latency could be smaller with a faster phone. I'm happy to have bought it anyway
