Fun to build. First I found a build video and then the instructions in English. They were not necessary. I only wanted to know what resistor and capacitor would be needed to enable a beep function for Morris code. I made two and they both work equally poor. After playing with the tuning I was getting better sound but broke off the speaker coil tab with the stiff wires included putting it back in the housing so I did not get to test the range after adjusting the tuning. The frequency is close to my old cordless phones I still use and it is what makes them most interesting.

Sehr schöne wirklich einfach gehaltene Bausätze, mit denen Kinder ab ca. 11-12 Jahren ihre ersten Elektronikerfahrungen sammeln können und letztlich auch ein greifbares Ergebnis erhalten. Der Frequenzbereich von 49 MHz ist zwar vermutlich in keinem Land legal zu betreiben, allerdings ist die Sendeleistung so gering das kaum Störungen zu erwarten sind. Auch sehr schön als Bau- und Bastelprojekt in Jugendgruppen zu verwenden, bei dem Preis kann man nichts falsch machen.
