Used a couple of times and appears to work. I question the effect that it has on the unit's "water proof" quality. I can see daylight between the unit and the ear piece plug-in.

Although the package edge looked like it had been thru a shredder the items themselves arrived in good shape. The USPS had repackaged the original bag with a "We're sorry.." sticker on it. I wish I could use/spend my points toward upgraded and expedited shipping waiting over two months from ordering to delivery is a real drag (item ordered on May 22, delivered August 1st). Items works as expected.
