Features:

- MAVLink Compatible: MinimOSD is designed for APM Pirate and other flight controllers that support the MAVLink protocol. It cannot operate standalone with a GPS and requires a MAVLink connection.

- Configurable Connection: It can be used either alone, in which case both TXRX should be connected to the APM, or together with digital transmission, where only the RX needs to be connected and the TX remains unconnected.

- Auto Video Format Detection: This OSD automatically recognizes the video format of the connected camera. However, if no camera is connected, you can manually set the output format (default is N, but soldering PAL enables PAL output).

- Based on Arduino: This OSD is built on an Arduino ATmega328 MCU and a MAX7456 monochrome on-screen display overlay chip. Programming is done through a FTDI compatible 6-pin header.

- Dual Independent Power Supply: It features two independent power supplies with isolated ground for the OSD functions. The 5V portion for the ATMEGA and digital stage of the OSD is powered by the FTDI cable or other 5V sources. The stabilized 5V for the analog stage of the OSD is powered via the video/output connector, capable of handling up to +12V input.
